Jersey Wooly - Showing Guidelines

* Senior Bucks & Does: 6 months of age and over not to exceed 3 1/2 lbs. Ideal weight is 3 lbs.
* Junior Bucks & Does: 6 months of age and under not to exceed 2 1/2 lbs.

Note - Rabbit's must be shown in their own classes.  Jr's can't be bumped to the Sr. class because of weight.

Body: short and compact with depth equaling width.  Shoulders should be slightly narrower than the hips. Hindquarters are to be full and well rounded.

Head: bold, well rounded and in balance with the body.  Should be set close the the shoulders.  Wool cap should be of short, dense wool from the ear base forward.

Ears: short, well furred, and of good substance.  Should be carried erect and slightly rounded.  Ideal length of ears is 2 1/2 inches.

Eyes: bold and bright.

*Wool shorter than 1 1/2 inches except on underside.

Body: short and compact and very round.  Shoulders should be the same width as hindquarters and the shoulders should be deep. Rounded hindquarters.  The body should balance.

Head: large head should balance with the body, and round when viewed for any direction.   The head should be set high and close to
shoulders.

Ears: short and well set, erect and well furred, thick in substance and rounded at the tips, ideal length is 2 inches.

Eyes: very bold and bright.
